You must accept the GSD general license term.
Introduction
This program synthesize interference color charts from CIE standard illuminants D32, D33, D40, D50, D55, D65, D68, D73, D95 and A, and equal energy alignment white. Details of the program are described in:

System Requirements
OS | FreeBSD/i386 3.0 or higher (including 4.0 and higher) |

Resolution | more than 1200 dots in height to show full range of retardation without paging support by window manager. At least 1024 dots in height are required even though your window system supports paging. 16bpp or higher is mandatory. |

Installation
Install sicc program (Unix and Unix system like OS)
Extracting archive file may produce executable file sicc. Put this file into suitable place.
Install sicc program (MacOS X)
Installer is under development.
Install ColorSync profile
This is the ColorSync profile for Macintosh. If you have not yet install ColorSync, you need to download it from Apple Web site and install it in your Macintosh computer. Put `SICC' file into the `ColorSync profile' folder in the system folder.

Usage
sicc
- To start the program, just type
./sicc
You will find radio buttons labeled `Select illuminant' which selects type of the illuminant. Following types of illuminant are supported:

After selecting observer and illuminant, push `OK' button to display the interference color chart in the new window.
To hide the interference color chart, push `Dismiss' button at the top of the chart window. To terminate the program, push `Exit' button.
ColorSync profile
Simplest way to use the profile is as follows:
- Use a QuickDraw printer. If your printer is not a color Postscript printer, you may use a QuickDraw printer.
- Start ColorSync in the control panel. Press `profile' tab and select `CIE RGB color space....'
- When you print a interference color chart, use the ColorSync for the color-matching. Details may be described in the manual of your printer.
